The spoils

So...I find pennies. I accumulate little coppery piles of money. Every day. For a month.

What do I do with them?

Hmm.

Well, first of all, no penny will be deemed spendable until the conclusion of the experiment. If I do make $2 million on Day 28, I don't get to book a suite at the Nittany Lion Inn and indulge in prime rib and a bathtub full of Creamery ice cream. (That will be for sometime in December, should I discover an unclaimed million-dollar penny cache.)

I want to have an accurate accounting of exactly what was acquired. So...all pennies will be tabulated and banked. I believe the teller girls will appreciate it, however, if I do not make daily deposits that first week. I'm sure the cost of deposit slips alone would be more than the first couple of contributions.

But when I am done, and I have my overlooked loot...?

What do you think? Spend? Save? Pay down debt? What would be the most appropriate use of found money?

Let me know what you think.

  1. Find the weirdest thing you can and buy it with the pennies. Example: For his birthday I bought my brother in law a 5lb gummy bear. Weird, yet awesome :)
